Book a lecture ..

Would you like to book a lecture with the founder of Walking For Water, who will come to visit your conference, company, organization or school?

Charlie Uldahl Christensen founded Walking for Water in 2015 and then headed out onto the road taking on the first of the philanthropic pilgrimages of the organization. Having spent 4 years and 4 months on the road, and having walked 12,200 kilometers through 7 European and 13 African countries – never having paid for lodging – he was deported from Nigeria in August 2019 after 6 days behind bars. Charlie now spends his time in Denmark where he gives lectures about life as a wanderer in Africa, before heading out on the final part of his pilgrimage. In his lectures he will share anecdotes and show pictures and video clips from his walk through cities, forests and deserts in Africa, all while explaining the concept and idea behind of the organization.

The lectures last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on your wishes, and cost 7,000 DKK plus travel expenses.

50 % of the payment goes to Walking For Water’s wells and water projects in Africa. Read more about these under menu item “Projects”.

This means that if you book a lecture, you also FULLY sponsor a hand pump effectively supplying at least 200 people with basic access to clean water.
